Year 4

Summer trip to The Rising Sub Country Park
Year 4 had a great trip to The Rising Sun, learning about our local area to support our Theme. We carried out orienteering tasks, mapwork skills and learnt all about the history of The Rising sun. A great, yet tiring, day was had by all!

United Kingdom half term projects
Year 4 have really impressed us with their half term projects.

North Tyneside skipping festival

30 year 4 children took part in this year's North Tyneside skipping competition. We participated in individual skipping skills, group running in and out and  dance events. Unfortunately, we did not win but we had a fantastic time taking part and won some gold and bronze awards.

Tyne Together 2017
Mea, Sam and Callum were the lucky finalists who were chosen to represent our school at this year's Tyne Together competition final. The Green Team thought up the excellent idea of the 'Prize every time' bin that would change the world by encouraging people to put rubbish in the bin in exchange for a prize. Well done Mea, Sam and Callum for getting to the final. We are all very proud!

North Tyneside dance festival March 2017
Year 4 took part in this year's dance competition. They did a fantastic job telling the story of Boudicca's revolution through dance.

Times Tables

This week Year 4 will begin their weekly times table tests. Every Friday, Year 4 will complete a short test based on one of the 12 times tables, the children have received the attached document so they know which x table to focus on each week. This week we will be looking at the 4x table - try your best to practise recalling these at home, in the car...even on your walk to school! Good luck!

November 2016
Year 4 have created some fantastic half term projects on the Romans. Everyone has put in so much effort and we especially enjoyed trying the Roman bread!
